à corps perdu - abcd, une collection d’art brut
published by Paris Musées (April 2004)

This book accompanies the exhibition "à corps perdu - abcd, une collection d’art brut" at the museum of Pavillon des Arts (April 30th - September 26th 20004)

Apart from the reproductions of 157 works most which are exhibited and the biographies of all shown artists, the catalogue allows great space for discussion. Seventy years after the first research undertaken by Dubuffet, it seems necessary to question the place of art brut in the beginning of the 21st century. The book as well as the exhibition which it accompanies, have been based on geographical principle : Western Europe, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Northern and Southern America.
