Between 1900 and 1902, Fernand Desmoulin, until then an academic engraver, became influenced by spiritualism. His hand, moved by his unconscious, created drawings as if by magic. It is not surprising that André Breton was interested in this automatic expression. Today, until now an unknown part of Desmoulin’s mediumistic production comes out into the open.
